Love the name and look of your blog! It is so YOU! Can you see your students creating Vokis as part of a unit on famous people, or possibly sharing a personal narrative or poem? (PS. Go back and add some commas between your labels!) :-)
Yes, I can see my students creating Vokis. In second grade we study several heros. Paul Revere's ride may never be the same. Comas on the way. Thanks Karen.
Hey Antonio. Thanks for reading my post...Just go to your post and look for the pencil next to "posted by____" click on it. It will allow you to edit your post. Look beneath the post on the left hand side you should see a place for labels. Just put words down that you think relate to your post separated by comas. I hope this helps.
I totally agree about the kids creating their own avatars! It was a lot of fun creating mine and it shows something really important to me, Drew. It will be interesting how the kids go about doing it!
The Avatar process is really neat because it allows both students and teachers to be creative in their own ways. Like you said, it then allows us some insight in to what the student is feeling for themselves.
